  • Enfinium was formed in early June 2021 following the acquisition of Wheelabrator and their 50% stakes in Mutlifuel Energy Ltd (Ferrybridge 1 and 2[2]) in the UK by the European Diversified Infrastructure Fund III, a fund managed by First Sentier Investors (FSI) (formally known as First State Investments) in early 2021[3].
  • In September 2025 Skelton Grange was opened[4]
  • In November 2025 a planning application was submitted for a carbon capture project at their Parc Adfer site[5]
